Hard Hill Road
Hard Hill Road wines are made only in special years and display the subtle majesty of single vineyard terroir. Low-intervention winemaking techniques, low-fertility soils, brisk winds, and cool ripening conditions conspire to produce a wine of wonderful intensity and balance.
Not only is the Grampians a sensational wine-growing region, it also happens to be home to some of the best rock climbing in Australia. Indulging two of his passions, cool-climate wines and outstanding rock climbing, winemaker Adam Richardson named his Chockstone wine series for the wedged rocks often encountered by climbers on a cliff face. The rich and vibrant Chockstone wines reflect Adam’s spirit of adventure.
